✨ Echoes of Danger is Released! ✨

I’m happy to announce that Echoes of Danger has finally been published! This one’s been over a year in the making—worked on off and on while juggling other books—and it’s become one of my favorite stories. But let me tell you, I had to rewrite it three times to get it right.
First, my villain started out scary… and then totally wimped out.
Then I had to remove a couple of characters, which left some holes—but that gave others the chance to step up, which was kind of the point.
Finally, I cut several chapters near the end that weren’t pulling their weight and rewrote the entire ending.
And now? I believe it turned out beautifully, and I’m thrilled with the result.
My favorite character? Virgil Hammond—Phoebe’s husband, a mild-mannered insurance clerk from New York City who turns out to be much more than he seems. When he comes west to find his wife, he reveals a surprising talent for shooting and fighting, and ends up helping Deputy Darius Royal track down the man sent to kill him.
All Virgil wants is to get his wife and go home to New York so they can start over—but he’s a man of honor who can’t say no when asked for help. Especially not when the sheriff’s wife is about to give birth and the town needs someone to step up.
I think you’re going to love this one.

I’m planning a couple of side stories featuring Mildred Natwick, the secret agent who posed as singer Fanny Bloom to help Darius in Echoes of Danger. She’ll team up with her love, Harley (another government agent, and one of the characters I had to cut from the main book), for an adventure in Kansas City. They’ll be working with Angie, the former saloon owner from Book 2.
In a second side story, they’ll visit Virgil and Phoebe in New York City—where an evening at the theater turns into a dramatic criminal operation they have to take down.
